PT Komatsu Astra Finance (KAF) is a Joint Venture company between Astra through PT Sedaya Multi Investama (SMI) and Komatsu through PT Komatsu Indonesia (KI) (50:50). KAF aims to support sales of Komatsu and related products marketed by PT United Tractors Tbk. (UT), by providing financing solutions.

KAF accommodates Komatsu heavy equipment financing, especially by providing investment facilities. In addition, KAF continues to collaborate with UT to design and offer financing solution programs to meet various customer needs, such as trade-in programs and spare parts financing.

Over 12 years of history, KAF has supported top players in the industry. The majority of customers supported by KAF come from the Coal Mining sector, but according to customer demand in the Agro-Forestry and Construction sectors to UT, KAF has committed to serve customers better by expanding its business network by opening a Representative Office located in Pekanbaru, Surabaya, and others.
